THE DRILLER
Taizo Hori was once a normal excavator, until he one day discovered monsters lurking underground. Taizo managed to fight off the monsters, becoming a hero in the process, and now travels the world, enjoying his newfound fame and glory, even finding a wife and having children.

-Dig Dug nods.
-Dig Dug sits down.

Square Moves

Standard: Pump Jab. Dig Dug jabs his pump forward.
Side: Pump Swing. Dig Dug swings his pump three times.
Up: Explosive Boost. An explosion erupts from under Dig Dug, launching him upward.
Down: Pump Slam. Dig Dug slams his pump downward.

Triangle Moves

Standard: Pump Spin. Dig Dug spins with his pump outstretched.
Side: Pump Lunge. Dig Dug lunges forward and slams his pump down.
Up: Harpoon Launch. Dig Dug launches his harpoon in the direction the control stick is tilted, latching onto ledges and pulling nearby opponents close to him.
Down: Jackhammer Quake. Dig Dug slams his jackhammer into the ground, burying nearby opponents.

Circle Moves:

Standard: Pump Inflation. Dig Dug fires his harpoon forward. If it hits an opponent, he will hold them down before pumping air into it three times, stunning and damaging them.
Side: Jackhammer. Dig Dug drives his jackhammer into the ground, causing a small earthquake around him.
Up: Digging Time. Dig Dug digs under the stage, where he can move freely to avoid attacks for a couple seconds. Upon coming out of the ground, he leaps high into the air.
Down: Drill Ram. Dig Dug starts up his jackhammer and charges forward while pointing it forward.

Supers

Level 1: Underground Blast. An explosion occurs on the ground in front of Dig Dug, KOing anyone it hits.
Level 2: Boulder Rain. Rocks begin to fall from the sky, KOing anyone they hit.
Level 3: Underground Rumble. Dig Dug sends all opponents underground. While underground, Dig Dug can freely tunnel about and KO anyone he hits.

Grabs:

Forward: Dig Dug uses his pump to knock the opponent back.
Up: Dig Dug uses his pump to knock the opponent into the air.
Down: Dig Dug slams his pump onto the opponent's head.
